Local Artist Selected For the Northwest St. Johns Telephone Directory
First Coast Directories, the publisher of the Northwest St. Johns Telephone Directory announced the selection of Catrina Kelley as the artist for the 2009-2010 directory cover. Each year the company commissions an artist to paint a landscape of a scenic site of the area. “I feel so blessed that I was selected and very grateful for the opportunity,” said Catrina.
Catrina’s love and passion for art has been an entrical part of her life as a form of self expression and enjoyment. “Discovering Catrina from the recommendation of local businessman, Steve Blackford was very much appreciated. As a native of the area she has a very good understanding of our scenic treasurers in NW St. Johns County,” said Carolyn Hebel, co-owner and founder of the Northwest St. Johns Telephone Directory.
Once the painting is completed and digitally captured for the front of the cover, it tours Northwest St. Johns County and is displayed through out the area until it is retired at the St. Johns County Government Annex building on Racetrack Road.
The Northwest St. Johns Telephone Directory, with a circulation of over 33,000, covers the area from South Mandarin to Route 214 including zip codes, 32259 and 32092, as well as, Bartram Springs, Kensington, Palencia and the Town of Nocatee.

First Coast Directories Introduces Enhanced White Page Business Listing / Search Feature to 2009-2010 Telephone Directory
First Coast Directories announced today a new service soon to be a part of the 2009-2010 Northwest St. Johns Telephone Directory white pages called QuickCheck.
QuickCheck is a feature that will allow you to quickly search the white or yellow pages for a customer name and telephone number.
QuickCheck is designed to capture those customers who seek businesses in the white pages that traditionally advertise in the yellow pages.
QuickCheck will allow our customers to benefit from our software advancements by cross referencing our yellow page advertisers in the white pages by the type of business/service they offer. "To the best of our knowledge there is no such service offered by any telephone directory in the nation", according to Steve Hebel, President and founder of First Coast Directories.
"Consumers who wish to shop in the white pages should be able to do so and our customers should be the first they find. QuickCheck allows consumers to look first to our directory in our white or yellow pages to find the service they require."
In recent surveys conducted by First Coast Directories the company discovered that many consumers will first look in the white pages for a service even if they do not know the company name. By offering yellow page listings in both the white and yellow pages, QuickCheck will address the needs of this growing market segment.
